Doritos Party Featuring Black Eyed Peas!

Where’s the party at? http://www.MindSmack.com was contracted to design and develop this high-impact flash website complete with After Effects video animation and a media player that showcases the awesome FLAVOR TRIP video. MindSmack.com President & CEO, Samuel Feuer, Chief Creative Officer, Marcelo Moyano and senior animator, Mike Feuer handcrafted all of the animation and effects. We have edited and animated all of the video for Fergie, Will i am, Taboo and Apl.de.Ap so they have a cool flow of animation and effects for each and are consistent with the site feel. The Doritos product is the coolest and tastiest imaginable. You have to experience it to believe how awesome this flavor trip chip actually is! This was a truly exciting project since there was so much room to explore ideas and demonstrate creativity. The team we put together for this project has won countless major awards including FWA awards and Macromedia (now Adobe) Site of the Day awards.

Need to generate web page thumbnails on the fly? Well after looking around all over the place I think I have found the best place to get this job done. The place to point your browser towards is webthumb.bluga.net. It might not have the Web’s best looking interface but it a powerful sidekick for any web page grabbing super hero to have.

How do you get started? All you have to do is enter the URL of your choice into the box they provide and select the max resolution you want the screen shot to be. Hit the ol’ enter key and then your into the queue - waiting for your turn for your images to be created. Now I have had the best success with this tool over others when it comes to wait time. Some of the others make you wait for hours or days - so far webthumb.bluga.net has always delivered in a number of minutes.

Once your done it gives you your screen shot in the maximum resolution you specified earlier and also some smaller ones to use too.

Will Google Buy GoDaddy?

There has been a bit of buzz about the possiblity of accredited registrar, Google (oh and search engine giant too), buying Godaddy. Could this be possible? Looks Like Google might be lining up to Buy GoDaddy Inc the worlds largest domain registrar, a move that some speculate might help Google remove spam from search engine results. GoDaddy has applied for several patents in the past months. GoDaddy may be trying to attract Google as a buyer.

Like many of the new social tools out there you would never have imagined this web site would be as addicting as it is. Since checking it out - I just feel the urge to search for awesome things and to find others who might enjoy them.

They also have a set of user forums too so if you have any feedback or issues, you can report and discuss them right there. This web site is definitely one to keep bookmarked in any browser.
